Clinical Psychologist
Caroline has an extensive history working in child and youth mental health services. Her clinical interests are working with children, adolescents, parents, and young adults affected by psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety, complex trauma, eating disorders, neurodivergence and personality disorders.
Caroline takes a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, drawing on several therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Child Focused Parent Therapy. Caroline is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) and Family Based Therapy (FBT) for eating disorders.
Caroline’s approach is person-centred and believes in working collaboratively with children and their families to empower them. Caroline aims to provide support that affirms a child’s neurodivergent strengths and identity. She believes in creating a safe and warm space where clients can explore their difficulties and develop strategies and skills to enhance coping and move towards meaningful change.
